Lacey Owens is a small-town farm girl with a passion for people.  She grew up working on the family-farm with her parents, grandparents, and two older brothers; and she has always had a genuine love for the industry.  Lacey is proud of her farm roots and continues to work in and promote the agriculture industry. 

Aside from her work in Agriculture, Lacey has been finding herself in various capacities of motivational speaking and personal development coaching.  Through her own personal trial and error, observing, listening, and helping others, combined with a life-long study of personal development; Lacey has created a series of workshops called “Get Your S#!T Together.”  She uses a very practical, yet life-changing approach to get people performing at their best and therefore, living more balanced, positive, and effective lives.

Whether it be your own personal performance and success journey, your time and stress management, your mental health, moving to new levels in your business or working as an entrepreneur, having more quality relationships with your clients, colleagues, friends, family, and spouses, being effective as a parent; it all begins with Personal Development! Lacey knows that the only person she can really control is the one in the mirror! She credits Personal Development for all of her successes (personal and professional), as well as the quality of her life!

Lacey feels that mental health is vital and not something to be taken lightly. Regardless of what we can’t control in our hormones and chemical disposition, one thing we can work to manage is our stress levels. The word ‘stress’ is one that Lacey hears far too often and wants to do her part to help people with. She feels that a proactive approach to stress and time management has changed her whole life and she has a fire burning inside her to share this with other people.

I want to see people going to bed with a clear mind and drifting off into a comfortable sleep knowing that they are in control of their lives; and that their lives are rich and amazing and that they have a choice in how they view it!”

Lacey always hits the stage with a goal to Educate, Entertain, and Empower! She will Educate you with everything that has worked for herself and others. She will Entertain you with her stories and her feisty, relentless energy and humour. She will Empower you to take control of your life and how you choose to live it; and from there, guide you on how to trend upwards in all areas that matter to you!

I have an in-depth process of learning everything I can about a group and the individuals that I’m working with because - one, it helps for me to relate to them and make a positive impact; and two - this is what lights my fire within!! I believe that everyone has special gifts, talents and contributions to the world, their own history, and their own future! I am one of those nerds that will watch people walk by and wonder “Where are they going? What do they do? Do they have a nice family? What is their routine? …” I also love all things Business and specifically I wonder - “What are their processes? How do they communicate? What is morale like? What is the concoction of personalities? Are employees happy? Are customers having the experience they deserve?…”

When I am hired (regardless of which service I’m providing), my first step is DISCOVERY! Discovery consists of questionnaires to whomever is booking me, sometimes phone/Zoom/in-person interviews! I REALLY want to get this right!

In the event I’m coaching a business on Communication and Morale Systems - I interview all the management, employees, and a few clients - preferably past and present.

I take all of the discovery into account and start writing the story of my client and make notes on where I may be able to help out. I typically make a bullet point list on what all they may need from me (because you know I feel that lists solve everything!). Depending on how much time I’m able to spend with the client, I choose the most urgent message.

From there I go into my bank of experiences (mine and others) and I begin to write the story. I look for the right stories and humour to deliver a captivating message that is also armed with practical tools to really help my client succeed in their mission!

I always build in the option for a follow-up to check in with those I have the pleasure of speaking with.
